The Roosevelt County Health Department is hosting a prenatal fair at Greet the Dawn Auditorium in Poplar on Friday, Sept. 12, from 1 to 3 pm.

The Montana State University freshman from East Helena lived on the poverty line for most of her life and would enter college as a first-generation student. Then, she discovered MSU’s Hilleman Scholars Program through a close friend.
“It was so shocking to me when I got in,” said Nay, who plans to study criminology

The Culbertson Saddle Club hosted its annual twoday Labor Day Weekend Wagon Train event over the holiday weekend. This year marked the 57th installment.
Attendees took advantage of cool weather to enjoy some scenery, make a few new friends and catch up with old ones out on the trail. The saddle club’s Pam Arneson told the Community News the event was well attended, including participants

The lecture series is scheduled on a regular monthly basis: every first and third Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis and Clark Library and every second Wednesday of the month
