In February, John David Panasuk was ordered to complete an in-patient treatment program and District Judge Benjamin Fosland decided to re-impose a sentence of 20 years with 15 years suspended after Panasuk admitted to violating conditions of his suspended sentence. The sentence delivered in February noted that there could be a harsher punishment if Panasuk doesn’t complete the treatment program

One person is dead after local and county law enforcement responded to a threat at the Lewis and Clark County Courthouse in Helena Friday afternoon, according to authorities. At around 1:30 p.m., Helena police officers and Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the county courthouse, 228 E. Broadway St., after numerous 911 calls reported that a woman was brandishing a handgun.

A reconfiguration of U.S. Highway 2 in Williston, N.D., is scheduled to start on April 1. According to Reede Construction, Inc., the work will impact the highway from 9th Avenue West, north to 35th Street to improve access to the future Williston Square development. For years, the hunting regulations contained pages for license or permit drawing odds from the previous year. The intent of these charts was to show hunters what the odds of drawing particular licenses or permits were from year to year.
