Burkhart Returns As Lustre’s Principal


Bob Burkhart is glad to be back at Lustre Christian High School to serve as the school’s principal. He left the area about three years ago after being Lustre’s principal for a couple of years. Burkhart explained that he planned to retire, but he was urged to come back to the community. “I’m very happy to be back,” he said. “We want to help Lustre become stronger and stronger.”

The Wolf Point Community Organization reviewed the participation for its back to school bash during its monthly meeting on Monday, Aug. 19. Chair Holly Hamilton reported that WPCO purchased 360 backpacks for area students. A total of 230 backpacks were handed out on Sunday, Aug. 18.
