Miller Selected As Alternate For Annual East-West Shrine Football Game


Colt Miller of the Froid/ Lake Red Hawks has been selected as an alternate for the Montana East-West Shrine Football Game. The senior was voted as an alternate at tight end. Miller earned All-State honors as the Red Hawks captured the Class C six-man state championship this year. Savage’s Sloan McPherson was voted to the East team as a tight end. He was an All-State pick this season.

Red Hawks Look To Contend During Boys’ Basketball Season


The Froid/Lake boys’ basketball squad returns four starters from a season ago and should be one of the top teams in the Eastern C this year. Returning starters for the Red Hawks include 6-2 senior Colt Miller, senior Bode Miller, junior Javonne Nesbit and senior Issac Johnson. Colt Miller and Nesbit were each All-State selections last season. Bode Miller earned All-Conference honors.

After coming a game away from the state tournament last season, Froid/Lake’s girls basketball squad shoots to be a threat again this time around. The Red Hawks return four starters from a season ago.
