The Froid town council held their regular monthly meeting Monday, July 12. A public hearing was held prior to the meeting to discuss plans for the annexation of properties and extending the town’s boundaries. One member of the public was present at the hearing. A comment was also received via email from local residents Chad and Melinda Formanek expressing their opposition to the annexation plan.

The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board passed a resolution Monday, July 12, setting aside $6,671,500 for economic relief assistance.
