Roosevelt County residents will have the chance to vote on June 7, to establish a special local option tax on medical marijuana and non-medical marijuana in the county. A decision regarding funding for the Wolf Point Police Department is on the June 7 ballot. Voters are asked to approve an additional levy of 59 mills upon taxable property for four years necessary to raise the sum of approximately $100,000 per year for the police department. A Wolf Point woman who admitted to trafficking methamphetamine around the Fort Peck Indian Reservation was sentenced Monday, May 16, to five years in prison and four years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Leif M.
