The Wolf Point boys’ cross-country team is aiming to bring back a team trophy from the Class B state meet scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 23, in Missoula.
“I want all of them to place and be consistent,” Wolf Point Coach Stacey Summers said. “It can be anybody’s race on that day.”
Wolf Point is ranked as the third top Class B boys’ squad entering the race. Ranked ahead of the Wolves

The Lustre Christian Lions played hard in three volleyball matches during the week.
Lustre fell to Glasgow’s JVs by a 16-25, 21-25, 25-20, 22-25, margin.
Alexa Reddig accounted for six kills and three blocks.
Grace Brown had eight kills and 15 digs. Sarah Dahl served four aces. Rebekah Jossart added 11 digs.
Aubri Holzrichter finished with eight assists.

The Indians put up a good fight but fell by a 10-25, 17-25, 15-25, final.
“We did OK,” Poplar Coach William Bemer said. “We’re doing better on playing defense, but we struggled with our serving.”
The coach is pleased with the young team’s attitude and hard work.

The season started Sept. 7 and featured games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It was hosted by the City of Wolf Point.
