Wolf Point Clean Sweep is officially underway at press time. The event is scheduled to end May 25, but Barbara Olson told the Northern Plains Independent that the event will be ongoing, with participants encouraged to respect social distancing guidelines and look for litter in small groups.

Ballots for the June 2 Primary Election were mailed out last week from the county election offices.
“This will be an all-mail ballot election; regular polling places will not be open. Voters can, however, still register and vote at the county elections offices up to and on Election Day. Everything Montana voters need to know is available on our Secretary of State website at sosmt. gov,”

The Roosevelt County Commissioners held their regular public meeting Tuesday, May 12. The meeting was held via conference call.
Fair department employees Britten VanGorder, Lindy VanGorder, Colton Spacht and Perla Burciaga were rehired. Plans for the fair are still developing in the face of COVID-19.
Commissioner Gordon Oelkers said, “The fair is going to look a little different this year.”
