Brockton Woman Killed In Single Car Crash

A Brockton woman died in a crash on BIA Route 1 between Wolf Point and Poplar May 28. The woman, a 34-year-old Brockton resident, was pronounced dead at the scene Friday night. She had not been identified at press time. The single-car accident occurred around 9 p.m. According to Montana Highway Patrol trooper Chris George, a 35-year-old Poplar man was driving a 2005 Ford Taurus eastbound on BIA

The Tribal Health Board of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes has released an order to relax restrictions that were made due to the spread of COVID. The Tribal Health Board passed the order Thursday, May 20. The order includes: no curfew, no more than 100 people to gather in a public place, tribal casinos can operate at regular hours with restrictions in place, tribal community halls
