Harold Garfield
Harold Garfield, 59, of Wolf Point died Nov. 2, 2024, at his home in Wolf Point.
He was born Jan. 9, 1965, to Violet Hamilton and Rayfield Garfield. He is an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes. He grew up in Wolf Point and attended school here.
In his youth, he loved fishing and being outdoors and working on cars, a favorite pastime shared with his son, Robert Garfield. He was always there for his mother and helped her fix things around the house. He was a helpful and caring handyman.
He met Sherri Comeslast and, to this union, daughters Auriona, Jatonna and Jacquelyn were born.
He had a great sense of humor, finding the good in all things. He always filled moments spent with him with laughter and appreciation for the smaller things in life.
He is survived by his daughters, Auriona, Jatonna, Jacquelyn and Heavynn Onstad; and brothers, Jonathan and Alwin; sisters, Janell, Paula and Cynthia; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Garfield; and sisters, Lena Siljenberg, Angel Garfield and Susan Garfield.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. at the new Wolf Point Community Hall. Interment will follow at Chicken Hill Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point assisted the family with arrangements.
