Roosevelt County has reason to be proud with two high school wrestlers capturing state titles at the girls’ state wrestling meet held in Billings. Wolf Point’s boys’ basketball team enjoyed excellent shooting in the first half and fought off Poplar, 56-50, to end the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 15. The three-point shooting of Roper Flaten and Jett Azure led the Wolves to a 22-13 advantage in the first quarter.
