Bulls Look To Contend In American Legion Baseball
In their second year of existence, the Post #49 Bulls are looking to continue providing quality baseball in northeastern Montana.
The Bulls feature 13 American Legion players including seven who played a good amount for last summer’s team. The Bulls play their home games in Froid.

Cowgirls Take Third Place At Richey/Lambert Invite
The Culbertson Cowgirls accounted for 65 points for third-place honors at the Richey/Lambert track invitational held in Lambert on Friday, April 30.
Circle took first with 97 points while Plentywood placed second with 70 points.
The top three teams in the boys’ division were Plentywood with 121, Circle with 76 and Fairview with 75.5. Culbertson took eighth with 16 points.

Red Hawks Place At Lambert Meet
Froid/Lake accounted for 38 points in the boys’ division and 13 points in the girls’ division during track action in Lambert on Friday, April 30.
Mason Dethman, a freshman, led the Red Hawks by taking second in the 100-meter dash (11.79 seconds) and second in the 400 (56.91 seconds).
Max Engelke, a sophomore, finished third in the 400 at 57.27 seconds.

Bainville Earn Points At Lambert Meet
Bainville’s track squad members provided strong efforts during the Richey/Lambert Invitational in Lambert on Friday, April 30.
On the boys’ side, senior Kaden Hansen earned third in the shot put at 42-2 and fifth in the discus at 120-11.
Samuel Butikofer cleared 5-6 for third place in the high jump.

Junior High Athletes Score in Fairview
Area junior high and elementary athletes placed during track action in Fairview on Thursday, April 29.
Culbertson’s Bridger Salvevold earned first in the 100 and 400 for junior high boys.
