Wolf Point’s boys’ basketball team fell at Glasgow, 6336, in District 2B play on Friday, Jan. 31. The Scotties led 16-7 at the end of the first quarter and by a 27-12 half-time margin. The Poplar River Ice Fishing Contest was held Saturday Feb 1, and participants were very fortunate to have great weather despite the little sprinkle of rain in the morning. Fishing started off fast with 10 fish weighed in the first half hour.
