Ricker Competes In Ironman Triathlon


Area athlete Darryl Ricker competed in the Tri-Cities Ironman Triathlon in Richland, Wash., on Sept. 21. The Ironman consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and 13-mile run. “I completed the swim in 35 minutes and completed 49 miles on the bike. But due to weather conditions, I was unable to make the bike cutoff,” Ricker said. “I competed for five hours and 30 minutes total.

Flag Football Team Wins Game At State Tourney


Wolf Point started its action at the state girls’ flag football tournament with a 39-12 victory over Hays-Lodgepole. The Wolves scored two touchdowns in the opening quarter on a 20-yard run by Cadence Boudin and a 37yard dash on a reverse play by Adalyn Smith. Wolf Point increased its lead to 19-0 on a 24-yard pass play when Ma’Kenzie Jackson caught a tipped pass from Maci Four Star-Sibley.
