Frazer Falls At District Tourney
Culbertson defeated Frazer by a 25-14, 25-10, 25-9, margin on Friday morning.
The Cowgirls were ahead by only an 8-5 margin early in the first set until striking for 10 straight points. Three aces by Jazzmin Fugere and kills by Mariana Burciaga and Emma Berwick led the Cowgirls’ streak.

Brockton Plays At 1C Tourney
Froid/Lake knocked off Brockton by a 25-10, 25-6, 2512, final on Friday morning.
The first set was deadlocked at 7-7 until the Red Hawks ran off 11 straight points. Leading the charge were kills by Mara Salvevold, Isabelle Nordwick and Joelle Davidson along with the serving of Brooklynn Nordwick.
Ahead by a 22-10 margin, Froid/Lake ended the first set on kills by Salvevold and B. Nordwick.

Poplar Athletes Run To Honors At State Cross Country Meet
Poplar’s girls placed 11th in the team standings at the Class B state cross country meet held in Missoula on Saturday, Oct. 26. Poplar’s Journey Gourneau, an eighth-grader, finished in 33rd place with a time of 21:35.6.
Mattie Falls Down, a senior, placed 44th at 22:05.6. Amelia Weeks earned 55th place at 22:39.6.
Kellyn Azure ran the course in 23:13.1 for 74th place. Cammie Martell took
Wolves Fall Against Glasgow Girls
Wolf Point’s volleyball team finished its home schedule with a loss against rival Glasgow on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Glasgow won the conference match by a 25-15, 25-14, 25-13, final.
The Wolves fell behind 10-4 in the first set but came back on kills by Lauren Rodenberg and senior Keeley Blount-Henderson.

Poplar Girls Fall Short In Home Volleyball Match Against Scobey
Poplar’s volleyball team put up a good battle but lost at home against Scobey by an 18-25, 19-25, 22-25, final on Thursday, Oct. 24.
After falling behind by an 11-5 margin in the first set, the Indians stormed back to 11-8 on two kills by Braelyn Nordwick and a block by Lilliana O’Neal.
Aces by Nordwick pulled Poplar to 14-12, but Scobey grabbed an 18-13 lead on the net play of Camrie
