Poplar Runners Place At Class B State Meet


Poplar’s girls earned 10th place in the team standings at the Class B state cross country meet held in Kalispell on Saturday, Oct. 21. The Indians had 345 points. Manhattan won the state championship with 93 points. Glasgow placed second with 103 points. Poplar’s sophomore Kacie Colgan finished in 28th place with a time of 21:15.96. Blake Follette earned 37th place at 22:39.18.

The Wolf Point Wolves capped off their regular season by taking fourth place in the team standings at the Harlem Invitational on Friday, Oct. 13. The Wolves finished with 36 points behind Harlem with 25, Plenty Coups with 28 and Glasgow with 34 points.
