After a close first quarter, Bainville’s girls’ basketball team used its quickness to down Lustre, 63-30, during non-conference play in Lustre on Thursday, Jan. 5. A 17-footer by Lustre’s Alexa Reddig ended the quarter with Bainville up by only a 1410 margin. Bulldogs Lose Against Top-Ranked Lustre Team


Two previously undefeated teams squared off when Bainville traveled to Lustre for a boys’ basketball showdown on Thursday, Jan. 5. Lustre took control in the middle two quarters for a 65-39 victory. The Bulldogs, led by the scoring of Ayden Knudsen and Alex Strickland, played close with the top-ranked Lions throughout the first quarter. Lustre held a 15-11 advantage at the end of the period.
