Culbertson was still ahead 36-32 after three quarters of play, but Savage struck for 17 points in the last quarter. Top scorers for the Cowgirls were Makena Hauge with 18 and Destiny Thompson with 13 points.

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks scored nine points in overtime to capture a 62-55 conference victory in Circle on Saturday, Jan. 7.
