The Richland County Fair Board consists of five dedicated board members who are appointed by the county commissioners to assist with planning, implementing and following through with the annual fair along with many tasks along the way. Dorreen Brown, 57, of Wolf Point died Feb. 1, 2021, in Poplar. A viewing will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at the Red Eagle Church in Fort Kipp. Interment will follow at Fort Kipp Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Bainville’s girls’ basketball squad fell short in Circle, 60-34, on Saturday, Feb. 6. Circle gained a 16-7 lead in the first quarter and increased the gap to 32-16 at the half. Froid/Lake earned a 17-4 advantage during the first quarter of play. The Red Hawks then accounted for 16 points in the second quarter for a 33-13 half-time advantage.
