Merrill Recognized As RMC’s Employee Of The Quarter


Administrative assistant Terri Merrill knows nearly all patients walking through the front entrance at Roosevelt Medical Center by name. Merrill greets everyone with a warm and friendly smile. Throughout her day, she continuously screens patients and connects them to varying departments in person and over the telephone. Her positivity never wavers and is heard through countless conversations

4-H Camp Attracts Many Students


4-H Campers The theme for the 2021 4-H Camp was all about CSI. The camp was held recently at the Beacon Bible Camp north of Frazer and involved campers from five counties: Valley, Daniels, Sheridan, Roosevelt and Richland. Activities featured tie-dying T-shirts, CSI workshops: invisible ink message, opening envelopes, mystery powder, fingerprinting and strawberry DNA Extraction from fruit.

Nick Oelkers Leaves Culbertson Council


The Culbertson Town Council held their regular monthly meeting Monday, July 12. Councilman Nick Oelkers stepped down from his position, leaving an east side vacancy on the council. Oelkers is moving to the Plentywood area. Project manager Ken Forbregd gave the council an update on activity at Ike’s Fishing Pond and Walking Trail. He said donations are needed.
