Railroad Safety


Roosevelt County started working on a culvert by the railroad crossing on County Road 1013 on Monday, April 19. The road needs to be 28 feet wide before the addition of crossing arms can take place. The county’s completion date for its work is May 17. BNSF will then install the crossing arms. Three individuals have died in crashes at the crossing since August 2019. (Photo submitted)

Jobs for Montana Graduates, CHS student council, the Nakona Dakota Oyate youth council and the junior class with advisor Keri Hauenstein hosted after-prom activities. Bulldogs Place At Meets


Bainville’s Kaden Hansen earned first place in the shot put to highlight the Bulldogs’ effort at the Savage Invitational on Wednesday, April 21. The senior had a best of 4104 to take first in the event. He also placed fourth in the discus at 122-01. Charles Butikofer placed second in the high jump by clearing 5-4. Samuel Butikofer took third by clearing 5-4. Emma Poser finished third
