Ardell Jeanine Nelson, 88, of Plentywood died March 28, 2021. She was born May 3, 1932, the middle child of Soren Sorensen Rungborg and Myrtle Marie (Andersen) Rungborg, in the old Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Plentywood. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the Reserve Lutheran church. She spent her childhood years in Reserve and attended grade school at the Reserve School

The Bainville Bulldogs were glad that track was back as the Bulldogs competed at the 22-team Glasgow Invitational on Thursday, April 1. Bainville’s senior Kaden Hansen earned fifth-place in the discus with a best of 12102. He took 10th in the shot put with a mark of 38-1. Dethman Receives Honors At Tourney

Froid/Lake’s senior Sydney Dethman was selected to the All-Star team for the Hi-Line Invitational basketball tournament held in Havre. Dethman helped the Class C squad win the tournament’s championship. Class C’s girls downed Class B, 61-49, in the title game. Dethman scored nine points in the victory. Class C defeated Class A, 81-48, in the semi-final round. Dethman scored 13 points

Great Falls Angler Lands Record Longnose Sucker

For the fifth time in less than a year, Montana will add a new state record fish to its books. The latest fish is a longnose sucker from the Missouri River caught on March 26. Weighing in at 3.42 pounds, the 20.1-inch sucker was landed by Jacob Bernhardt of Great Falls while fishing in Cascade County.
