Rail Safety Remains Challenge In County


Montana Operation Lifesaver continues its efforts to educate the public regarding railroad safety. “We’re a non-profit organization that promotes rail safety and inform people to stay away from the tracks and use designated crossings,” John Althof of Montana Operation Lifesaver said. Part of the organization’s recent efforts have included a safety campaign in Roosevelt County.

A jury found Trevor Levi Crain of Culbertson not guilty of assault with a weapon and criminal mischief charges during a trial in Wolf Point on Thursday, June 16. The Town of Culbertson held their regular meeting Monday, June 13. There was no public comment offered. A resolution was passed approving the amended budget for fiscal year 2021-22.
