Agency Proposes Endangered Status For North American Bat


The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed increasing federal protections for northern long-eared bats in the face of white-nose syndrome, a deadly disease that affects cave-dwelling bats across much of North America, including eastern Montana. Froid FFA Places Third At State


The Froid FFA program came away with third-place honors from the state floriculture competition held in Miles City on March 21. “These kids are pretty natural at it so I was surprised but wasn’t surprised,” Froid’s FFA advisor Mary Barcellos said of the showing. Representing Froid at the competition were Cian Logan, Kaylee Olson, Jaeleigh Davidson and Carolyne Christoffersen.
