The volunteers at the Culbertson Food Bank have decided to close the local food bank. The Culbertson Food Bank has provided food for needy families for nearly 50 years. LeEtta Waldhausen has worked there for about 35 years herself and said she is very sad to see the closure. Montana State University Extension and North Dakota State University Extension personnel have been collaborating for 20 years to bring an annual quality pulse production extension program to the producers of the MonDak region. The event alternates between being held in North Dakota and Montana. This year, MonDak Pulse Day will be held Feb. 19 at the Elks Club (309 2nd Ave S) in Glasgow.

According to figures released by the Montana Highway Patrol, vehicle crashes involving single or multiple fatalities fell by one in 2019 compared to 2018, bringing the total for the year to 167. The figures show that last year’s death toll spiked dramatically in the summer months.
