Bainville Celebrates Graduation


Nine seniors graduated in Bainville May 15. A ceremony was held at the school starting at 1 p.m. The Class of 2021 included Gianna Boyd, Donna Butikofer, Kaden Hansen, Andy Powell, Russell Riegler, Cody Skor, Logan Ullmer, Britten VanGorder and Matti Woodward. Culbertson Places Sixth At District 2C Track Meet


Culbertson placed sixth in both the boys’ and girls’ division at the District 2C track meet in Lambert on Tuesday, May 11. The Eastern C divisional meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 20, in Sidney. Bulldogs Enjoy Good Showing At District


The Bainville Bulldogs accounted for 19 points in the boys’ division and 11 points in the girls’ division at the District 2C track meet in Lambert on Tuesday, May 11. Kaden Hansen, a senior, came through with a second- place showing in the shot put with a best of 42-09. He also placed third in the discus at 132-08. Samuel Butikofer cleared 5-6 for second place in the high jump.
