Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks’ Region 6 Citizen Advisory Council will meet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center in Fort Peck.
The meeting is open to the public and will include wildlife, fisheries, enforcement, and other updates from Region 6 FWP, and a roundtable discussion with CAC members.

Wolf Point’s Steamboat Dry Goods has announced the opening of a second store at the Residence Inn Town Center in Big Sky.
According to Carolyn Whitmer, plans to open another store have been in the works for a year.
“We’ll have the same products as our main location but with an increased offering of tourist gifts and higher-end apparel,” said Whitmer.

The Roosevelt County Commissioners held their first regular meeting of the year Tuesday, Jan. 7. Commissioners Gary Macdonald and Gordon Oelkers were in attendance.
The commissioners approved minutes for December, as well as minutes for the Dec. 17 regular meeting. Minutes were also approved for a Jan. 2 nomination meeting. Oelkers was elected the new presiding officer.
