Area residents filled the old armory building March 29 in Culbertson for prom festivities, including the grand march, which began at 8 p.m.. The event was styled as a “Vegas Prom.” The 2025 royalty court included King Mark Kirkaldie and Queen Jazzmin Fugere, juniors Ian Snyder and Ayden Ator, sophomores Cal Steppler and Payton Labatte and freshmen Gabe Annett and Kalia Featherston.

Culbertson High School students enjoyed a strong showing at the Academic Olympics competition in Glasgow last week. Culbertson earned top honors in the Class II oral competition and third place in team tests. Team members are, from left, Felixe Becker, Henry Colvin, Jazzmin Fugere, Ivy Colvin and Payton Labatte. Individually, Becker placed third in social studies. Ivy Colvin took fourth in English,
