The sophomore combination of Megan Granbois and Makena Hauge was too much for the Richey/Lambert Fusion to handle as Culbertson’s girls won by a 62-34 margin at the District 2C basketball tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 17. Granbois scored 32 points and Hauge accounted for 23 points in the loser-out contest. The Cowgirls trailed 9-8 in the first quarter before two straight baskets by Granbois.

Bainville’s girls’ basketball team saw its season come to an end against Savage, 59-40, during the District 2C tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 17. The Bulldogs trailed by only an 11-10 margin at the end of the first quarter. Sadie Ullmer scored six of Bainville’s points in the first quarter.
