On Jan. 11, Moderna, the company that produced the COVID-19 vaccine being used in Roosevelt County and on the Fort Peck Reservation, announced that protection from its vaccine should last a year. It will take a year for the statement to be proven, but this is welcome news as vaccination continues in our area and around the world. Culbertson’s boys’ basketball team fell short to Fairview, 66-34, at home on Saturday, Jan. 16. Fairview led 20-6 at the end of the first quarter and 31-10 at the half. Fairview scored 24 points in the third quarter for a 55-20 margin. Colin Avance led Culbertson with 16 points. Scoring six points each for the Cowboys were Hunter Lucas and Mike Pederson. Adding two points each
