Dana Buckles won a seat on the Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board during a special election on Saturday, Nov. 19. Roosevelt County reported nine active COVID cases as of Friday, Nov. 18. There have been 3,729 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Frederick was re-elected for sheriff/ coroner with 1,436 votes. Challenger Brent Nygard received 1,073 votes. In the race for county commissioner, district 3 residents went for Toavs with 383 votes.
