The Montana Department of Transportation and Knife River will continue paving along U.S. Highway 2 and at the intersections within the project area. Crews will also work on installing guardrail, curb and gutter and pouring sidewalk concrete. Work will take place Monday through Saturday, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Traffic will be restricted to one lane and controlled by flaggers or traffic signals.

The Town of Bainville is hosting a clean-up day Aug. 19 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rolloff garbage containers will be provided for anyone to use. No paint, chemicals, electronics or metal are allowed. To volunteer for a cleanup crew, contact Carol Rasmussen, Jackie Dear or John Gilligan. To request clean up efforts on your property, pick up a form at the town office and return prior to the event.
