Gregory Fred Hofman was born June 4, 1947, in Williston, N.D., to Fred and Dorothy Hofman of McCabe, Mont. He was baptized and confirmed in Ebenezer Lutheran Church. Greg attended Mc-Cabe Elementary School and attended high school in Culbertson.
