Official Explains Benefits Of Cooperatives
Area residents heard about cooperatives and food hubs during a “Lunch and Learn” presentation held at the Wolf Point-GNDC Conference Room on Monday, April 12.

Officer Returns Home To Improve Area
After serving in the U.S. Army for nearly 14 years, Centennial Colon has returned with the goal of helping others as a member of the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office.
Colon graduated from Poplar High School in 2005 and then joined the Army. His 13 years and nine months with the Army included tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He has now served for the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office
Red Hawks Compete At Opening Meet
The Froid/Lake Red Hawks kicked off their track season at the Wibaux Invitational in Glendive on Saturday, April 10.
Leading the way for Froid/ Lake was Max Engelke as the sophomore finished fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.38 seconds.
Daniel Forizs took sixth in the 200 in 25.70 seconds.

Track Athletes Place At Junior High Meet
Junior high athletes from Bainville, Culbertson and Froid/Lake were among the participants at the 18-school track meet in Wolf Point on Friday, April 9.
Bainville placed third for seventh-grade girls, 14th for eighth-grade girls and 15th for seventh-grade boys.

Culbertson Places In Events During Wibaux Invitational
The Culbertson girls placed 11th and the Culbertson boys took 14th place in the team standings during the Wibaux Invitational held in Glendive on Saturday, April 10.
High jump was the strong event for Culbertson’s girls during the meet as three girls placed in the top four.
Abbey Granbois, a senior, cleared 5-0 for top honors. Megan Granbois, a sophomore, also cleared 10-0 for second place.
Bainville Scores At Track Meet
The Bainville Bulldogs had their second track meet of the season when the Bulldogs traveled to Glendive for the Wibaux Invitational on Saturday, April 10.
Bainville’s Emma Poser finished fifth in the 3200-meter run with a time of 14:42.20. The junior was 10th in the 1600.
Also with a strong effort was Micah Anderson as she took 13th in the shot put and 16th in the discus.
On the boys’
