Gregory Fred Hofman was born June 4, 1947, in Williston, N.D., to Fred and Dorothy Hofman of McCabe, Mont. He was baptized and confirmed in Ebenezer Lutheran Church. Greg attended Mc-Cabe Elementary School and attended high school in Culbertson. After serving in the U.S. Army for nearly 14 years, Centennial Colon has returned with the goal of helping others as a member of the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office. Colon graduated from Poplar High School in 2005 and then joined the Army. His 13 years and nine months with the Army included tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
