Culbertson Students Win BPA State Honors


Three Culbertson High School students came away with honors from this year’s state Business Professionals of America contest. Tige Purvis took third place in the Linux Operating Systems competition. Makena Hauge, a sophomore, placed fourth in Network Administration Using Cisco and Server Administration Using Microsoft. Cody Larsen and Purvis earned fourth-place honors for Presentation

Ardell Jeanine Nelson, 88, of Plentywood died March 28, 2021. She was born May 3, 1932, the middle child of Soren Sorensen Rungborg and Myrtle Marie (Andersen) Rungborg, in the old Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Plentywood. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the Reserve Lutheran church. She spent her childhood years in Reserve and attended grade school at the Reserve School

Culbertson Athletes Place In Glasgow To Open Track Season


Culbertson faced strong competition at the season- opening track meet in Glasgow on Thursday, April 1, but scored its share of points at the 22-team competition. The Cowgirls accounted for 13.5 points at the Glasgow Invitational for 15th place. Hinsdale topped the team standings with 52 points followed by Havre with 51 and Plentywood with 50 points. Highlighting Culbertson’s efforts was
