Aaron Craig Grant, 39, died Feb. 22, 2025. He was born March 4, 1985, in Poplar to Victor Grant Sr. and Patricia Red Star. He graduated from Poplar High School in May 2004. He worked various jobs which included, Poplar School cafeteria, TJ’s Quick Stop, Tande’s Grocery and Albertson’s bakery. He loved to spend time with his dog. He was always a joy to have around, quick to laugh, kind hearted. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, walking around, cruising, listening to music, swimming, camping, going to pow-wows, lottery tickets, coloring pictures, casino machines, playing board games, card games, dice and watching movies. He was also preceded in death by step-father, Gerald “Pinky” Lone Bear. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Red Star; sister, Tricia Red Star; brothers Victor Grant Jr. and Dorrance Grant; step-sisters, Cristy Lone Bear, Jana Lone Bear and Laken Longee; and step-brother, Alex Lone Bear. A wake will be held Friday, March 14, at the Poplar Cultural Center, starting at 7 p.m. His funeral service will be Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m.

Gifford Standing, 47, of Wolf Point died Feb. 26, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 7, at the Oswego Community Hall. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point was entrusted with the arrangements.
