Bigger Sky Kids Offers Nakoda Dance For Girls


Wolf Point after-school program Bigger Sky Kids has received a $2,500 grant from the Montana Arts Council for a Nakoda dance class for girls. The course is taught by Winona Runsabove, an instructor for the Fort Peck Tribes Language and Culture Department. The class focuses on ladies traditional, jingle dress and fancy shawl dances.
