Arlie Rauch


Arlie D. Rauch died Dec. 15, 2021. He was married to Ruth Rauch for 50 years. Together, they built a life bringing four children into the world. He was the pastor of churches in South Dakota, Nebraska and Montana. He also made a living as a piano tuner/technician as well as working for Mayflower as a mover. He enjoyed motorcycle touring and was the membership director for Turbo Motorcycle International Owners Association. He also really enjoyed gardening, playing chess and music. He was the involved in directing and singing in community choirs and playing in community bands. He also taught lessons on the trumpet. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughters, Merrily Wolters and Renessa Belohlavek; sons, Andrae and Carmody; nine grandchildren; sister, Ila Hagen; and brother, Harry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ida Rauch. A special service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 5:30 p.m. MST. The Lustre Christian boys’ basketball squad made history on Tuesday, Dec. 21, The Lions defeated Scobey, 47-33, to end the Spartans’ state record 57-game winning streak in boys’ basketball.
