Waters Retires As President Of First Community Bank


First Community Bank announced that after 22 years serving as bank president, Sam Waters retired on June 30. Kris Simensen, chief executive officer, assumed the role as president on July 1. Waters will continue with the bank as chairman of the board and president of the holding company. Waters joined FCB in 1991 as senior vice president/ag loan officer and was appointed to president in 1999.
