Young, Indians Earn Golf Honors
The Poplar Indians have enjoyed plenty of success during recent golf action.
Poplar’s Landon Young shot an 87 to earn medalist honors at the Box Elder Invitational. The Indians took first place with a team score of 283.
At the Malta Invitational, Young scored a 90 for seventh place.
Poplar’s Quinn Sutherland placed 13th at 102 and Preston Ogle took 14th at 103.

Tennis Players Pick Up Victories In Townsend
Wolf Point’s tennis players Mahala Moran, Kaleah Miller- Toves and Kaylee Johnson all enjoyed good success during the Townsend Invitational.
In singles’ play, Moran had a 4-2 record with victories against opponents from Jefferson, Great Falls Central, Simms and Three Forks.
The doubles’ team of Miller- Toves and Johnson also went 4-2 during the weekend. They earned victories over Jefferson,
Lilley Selected For NBC Squad To Play in Germany
Wolf Point High School junior basketball player Lennox Lilley has been selected to play for the NBC Camps International traveling this this summer.
Lilley, a Fort Peck Tribal member, will travel to Germany in July to represent the Fort Peck Tribes and the United States.
He also plays football and is a member of the NDO youth group. He was selected last year to play in the United Kingdom
