Gideon Price Magura was born Nov. 22 at 10:30 a.m. to Rebecca and Jacob Magura of Wolf Point at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow. He weighed seven pounds nine ounces and was 20 inches long. He joins brother Adam at home.

The Fort Peck Tribes Language & Culture Department is offering language classes at the department’s building in Poplar and the Wolf Point Community Center. Nakoda classes will run Thursdays at 5 p.m. at 5125 Sixth Ave. S in Wolf Point. Community members are welcome. Dakota language classes are being offered Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. Those classes will be located at 603 Court Ave.
