Wolf Point High School cross country and track distance runner Christian “Chris” Birdhat signed a letter of intent earlier this month for an athletic scholarship to the Minot State University Track And Field Program.
Birdhat, a 2020 WPHS graduate, will further his running at MSU while majoring in entrepreneurship.

Poplar’s Samantha “Sammy” Brunelle, a standout thrower for the Poplar Indians’ track and field team, earned an athletic scholarship to the Minot State University Beavers’ track and field program for throwing events.
Brunelle, a 2020 PHS graduate, said she is excited about her commitment to MSU.
“I will be studying exercise science and rehabilitation to become a physical therapist,”
