Howard Bemer


Howard James Bemer, 70, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2020, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings. He was born on Dec. 7, 1949, to Neville Bemer and Freda Bauer Christian Burshia Bemer. He was raised on the family farm and ranch north of Fort Kipp. He attended school in Brockton, graduating in 1967. He briefly attended Dartmouth and Montana State University before returning to run the farm and ranch

Three Conference Wins Power The Wolves Into Second Place; Indians Outlast Malta


The Wolf Point Wolves basketball team has moved into second place in District 2B with three consecutive conference wins in the Wolves’ Den over Glasgow, Poplar and Harlem, the league leader that was previously unbeaten in 2B play. The Lady Wolves topped the Poplar Lady Indians 5446 in basketball action in Wolf Point Friday, Jan. 24, and dropped another District 2B home game to Harlem 62-50 Saturday, Jan. 25.
