Ethan Murphy, who is accused of killing a man in Wolf Point on Sept. 28, 2025, has changed his plea to guilty as part of a plea agreement in federal court. The guilty pleas are for second degree murder and use of a firearm during a crime of violence. District Judge Benjamin Fosland presided over four criminal hearings in Wolf Point on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Shadey Ann Marie Wienke had her sentencing hearing for criminal possession of dangerous drugs. Roosevelt County Attorney Thomas Bleicher made the recommendation that Wienke receives a three-year Department of Corrections commitment to run concurrently with two Lewis and Clark County cases.
