The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 237 calls from July 6-13. The calls included the following: July 6 Deputies assisted the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice when a vehicle ran off the road on Sixth Avenue South in Wolf Point near the community hall. The Wolf Point School Board stresses that area children might be eligible this summer for the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services’ SUN Bucks. The summer Electronic Benefits Transfer Sun Bucks are for qualifying children, such as those who receive free or reduced meals, to provide extra food benefits during summer months when children do not have access to schools meals.
