Area Golfers Compete During Poplar Invitational

Golfers from Wolf Point and Poplar played well at the Poplar Invitational held in Wolf Point on Friday, April 30. Leading Wolf Point’s golfers was Trevin Boysun with an 102 for sixth place.

Abel Garfield earned ninth place by shooting an 109. Gaige Bushman took 10th with an 111. Logan Bushman shot an 117.

In Malta on Saturday, scores for Wolf Point included Boysun with an 89 for third place.

Garfield shot an 108 for eighth place and G. Bushman had an 112.

Poplar’s Landon Young shot a 96 for second place at the Poplar Invitational. Other scores for the Indians were Gage Berg with a 131 and Preston Ogle had a 135.

Scores for the Indians in Malta were Berg at 111, Young at 117 and Ogle at 128.

Wolf Point hosts its home meet on Thursday, April 29. Teams will head to Glasgow on Friday, April 30.
