Proposed Intersection Improvements In Froid

The Montana Department of Transportation has announced and is seeking public comment on a proposal to improve the intersection of S 344 and MT 16 in Froid.

Proposed work will include the installation of new signage including stop signs, stop ahead signs, and intersection warning signs at this intersection. The purpose of the project is to address a crash trend identified at this intersection.

Construction is tentatively planned for 2022 depending on completion of design and availability of funds. No new right-of-way or utility relocations will be needed.
