AAU Wrestlers Place At State Meet

Two wrestlers from Wolf Point earned first-place honors during the Montana State AAU Wrestling Tournament held in Billings on March 18-20.

Joli Beston won the tile at 138 pounds in the girls’ division. Addison Matejovsky earned first place at 75 pounds in the girls’ bantam division.

Annaleigh Matejovsky placed second at 95 pounds in the girls’ novice division.

Maxton MacDonald captured third place at 103 pounds in the midget division. Jesse Reed placed fifth at 130 pounds in the schoolboy division.

Tenzin Gonzales took sixth place at 50 pounds in the tots division. James Corpon placed sixth at 120 pounds in the novice division.

Wolf Point’s wrestlers will compete at the Montana Open in Billings this weekend.
