Senior Profile Smoker Keeps Busy At Wolf Point High School

Wolf Point High School senior KiAnn Smoker has been involved in a series of high school programs.

One of her favorite high school activities was cheerleading. She especially enjoyed students where she performed back-spot duties.

During track season, she competes in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.

“I like the adrenaline it gives me,” Smoker said of running sprints.

Other hobbies include painting, drawing and reading. She likes the thrills of reading a good horror book.

She doesn’t have a particular favorite art topic. “I just like to paint and draw whatever,” Smoker explained.

Smoker attended school in Wolf Point for grades 3-8. She then transferred to Poplar High School for grades 9-11. She decided to spend her senior year back in Wolf Point. “I like Wolf Point and my friends,” she said.

Her favorite teacher is Jaki Harada.

“She’s so clam and brings a light everywhere she goes,” Smoker said of Harada.

The senior doesn’t have a particular favorite class in school.

After a gap year, Smoker plans to attend the Opal Beauty Academy in Billings.

She hopes to become a nail technician.

“I like to work with beauty,” Smoker said.
