MCT, Local Cast To Perform Friday

Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an age-old favorite on March 14 when the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local students present Hercules.

The local cast features Emma Henry as Hercules. Also featured are the six philosophers Androcles (Parker Schmidt), Socrates (Jaclynne Taberna), Aristotle (Aubrey Lee), Zeus (Nash Petersen), Hera (Brailey Bigler) and Helen of Troy who will be played by Paisley Struna. The announcers Homer and Archimedes will be played by Hadley Miller and Harper Struna and Pegasus will be played by Franiah Bighorn. The Lion will be played by Trig Vaira.

The comedic cyclops include Rhett Berwick, Oliver Becker and Henry Standley. The savvy Influencers will be played by Leddy Anderson, Shianne Boyd, Reagan Chilson, Paisley Froenlich, Baylor Hagadone, Mallory Harling, Luella Petersen, Gabby Lee, Rylee Lee, Josie Rhodes, McKinley Rhodes, Amelia Riggin, Kynzie Smith and Sadie Swallers.

To complete the ensemble, Lok Kierstead, Braxton Mattfeldt, Tyson Taylor, Noah Ellerkamp, Melodee Harling, Remington Smith, Leah Primeau, Jameson Riggin, Breckyn Schmidt, Kaysen Booth, Ark Kirestead and Norma Petersen will appear as the competitive Olympians, and the mighty Titans will be played by Ariana Belton, Joel Berwick, David Byrd, Koen Forebregd, Heston Hagadone, Edith Petersen, Flo Petersen, Lane Rhodes, Boyd Wilson.

Gavin Fox and Ava Henry have served as assistant directors throughout the week.

HERCULES will be presented at 1:15 and 6:30 p.m. at the Culbertson Old Armory. Tickets are available at the door.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Culbertson is presented locally by the Culbertson School with support from the Washington Foundation Grant and many local community members.
