C&B Hosts Grand Opening

C& B Operations played host to grand opening festivities Thursday, April 3, in Culbertson.
Service writer admin Dixie Berwick told the Community News that approximately 400 people attended the luncheon event, which included a ribbon cutting, tours of the facility and several special presentations. The brand new facility is located on the north side of U.S. Highway 2 next to Hi-Line Inn & Suites.
The company currently employs 16 people in Culbertson, including two local high schoolers. Berwick said C& B may be hiring additional techs.
Area residents and attendees from around the region were treated to hot dogs, burgers and cupcakes catered by the Ranger Lounge, Casino and Eatery in Sidney. One highlight was customer Noah Strauser, who was able to present his daughter with a special side by side customized by C& B with pink camo detailing.
Company marketing and department heads were at the event from as far away as Sheridan, Wyo., and Sioux Falls, S.D. Berwick said attendees especially enjoyed tours of the state of the art Modula Lift parts vending machine.
“The Culbertson store has a longstanding legacy of serving area farmers and ranchers, originally operating as Culbertson Implement, Prairie Ag Sales & Service and Farm Equipment Sales, before joining the C & B Operations family in 2018,” said a company press release advertising the event. “We’re proud to open the doors at 975 John Deere Way. You can’t miss the John Deere sign.”
The state-of-the-art location is designed to better serve the local ag community, offering expanded service capabilities, a full parts inventory and expert support to help customers maintain and upgrade their equipment.
C& B’s hours at the new Culbertson location are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Call 406-787-6201 for more information.
